Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) Student Conducts First Aid Workshop

Mohammed Ali Al-Mousawi, a sixth-year medical student at the College of Medicine, University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBIH), delivered a specialised training workshop on Basic Life Support (BLS) for students from various medical colleges. The workshop was organised at the invitation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports / Department of Scientific Care and attended by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports.

The workshop trained participants in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency response procedures, receiving enthusiastic engagement from attendees who praised the quality of preparation and delivery. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by promoting first aid awareness and health prevention, and Goal 4: Quality Education, by enhancing students’ skills and connecting academic knowledge with practical application. The event also reflects Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through collaboration between the university and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to strengthen health awareness in the community.

Through such initiatives, the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) continues to assert its presence in both academic and social spheres by supporting its students and embracing scientific and humanitarian initiatives that contribute to raising health awareness and improving healthcare services.
