The College of Medicine continues its scientific activities with a workshop on genetic changes in diabetic patients.
The College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University, in cooperation with the Iraqi Syndicate for Training and Development, held a scientific workshop entitled "Genetic Mutations in Type 1 Diabetes among Iraqi Patients." The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Saadoun Al-Ghazi, along with a number of faculty members, staff, and students. Dr. Farah Ali Mahdi Al-Dabbagh presented the workshop, discussing the latest scientific findings related to genetic mutations affecting type 1 diabetes in Iraqi patients. She also reviewed research and applied aspects that contribute to understanding the mechanisms of the disease and improving diagnostic and treatment methods. This workshop is part of the college's efforts to support scientific research and enhance medical awareness about chronic and genetic diseases, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's directives to develop the medical field and serve the community.
