The activities of the Second Investment and Entrepreneurship Exhibition were launched at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, in cooperation with the University of Karbala, Al-Zahraa University for Women, and Al-Sibtain University. The memorandum aims to broaden the scope of scientific and academic collaboration in a manner that contributes to enhancing the educational process and achieving the goals of sustainable development. The memorandum was signed on behalf of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University by the University President, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, while Al-Alamein Institute for Postgraduate Studies was represented by its Dean, Professor Dr Zaid Adnan Al-Akeeli. The signing ceremony took place in the courtyard of Al-Alamein Library. The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa has achieved a significant advancement in the 2025 UI GreenMetric World University Ranking for Sustainability, rising 142 places compared with the previous year to reach 293rd globally, up from 435th. This accomplishment reflects the University’s improved performance in environmental sustainability indicators, resource management efficiency, and the development of green infrastructure across the campus. At the national level, the University ranked ninth among 87 Iraqi public and private universities, and fourth among private universities, underscoring its leadership in adopting environmentally responsible policies and integrating sustainability into its academic programmes.
