On the occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of Amir Al-Mu’minin Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), students of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (AS) marked the occasion through a meaningful initiative that included distributing sweets and sharing selected quotes and highlights from his noble life across the university campus, aiming to promote his lofty values among the academic community.
This student-led initiative reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing cultural and religious awareness and fostering a spirit of social responsibility, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes value-based learning, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by promoting principles of justice, ethical conduct, and peaceful coexistence inspired by the life of Imam Ali (AS).
The university affirmed that such activities contribute to creating a positive academic environment that integrates knowledge with moral values and supports Warith Al-Anbiyaa University’s vision of preparing ethically conscious students capable of contributing effectively to a balanced and sustainable society.

As part of the 4th International Kawthar Al-Ismah Cultural Festival, organized by the General Secretariat of the Holy Husayni Shrine, Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (AS) hosted a celebration marking the birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her).
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Nawfal Al-A’arji, Administrative Assistant to the University President, along with faculty members and students, and included religious and cultural activities highlighting the life and values of Lady Al-Zahra (AS).
This participation reflects the university’s commitment to cultural and educational initiatives in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Quality Education (SDG 4), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16).

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab Al-Kubra (peace be upon her), the College of Islamic Sciences at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (AS) organized a blessed celebration highlighting her noble status in Islamic history and her pioneering role in the uprising of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
The event included academic speeches and intellectual presentations that shed light on the values of patience, knowledge, and service to humanity embodied by Lady Zaynab (AS), which play a vital role in building social awareness and fostering responsibility and solidarity within the university community.
This celebration reflects the university’s commitment to promoting human and sustainable development values in line with SDG 4: Quality Education, emphasizing value-based education grounded in ethics and knowledge to build more peaceful and just societies.
Participants affirmed that recalling the life of Lady Zaynab (AS) strengthens a culture of resilience and commitment to truth, in line with the university’s vision of developing conscious individuals and a cohesive society.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (AS) hosted the “Good Tree of the Book” exhibition, organized by the Department of Religious Festivals and Occasions at the Holy Husayni Shrine, with the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, along with faculty members and students.
The exhibition featured a variety of religious, intellectual, and cultural publications aimed at promoting knowledge awareness and strengthening authentic Islamic culture within the academic community.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Quality Education (SDG 4) and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16), and reflects the university’s commitment to supporting education, culture, and ethical values.

“Know, O servants of Allah, that the least reward for the fasting men and women is a call by an angel on the last day of Ramadan saying, ‘Rejoice, O servants of Allah! Your past sins have been forgiven.’ So be mindful of how you begin anew.” – Al-Amali: 100

In honour of the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (PBUH), the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) organised a mourning ceremony at the College of Islamic Sciences. Faculty members and students attended the event, which focused on the profound impact of Imam Ali’s legacy.
The session included a religious lecture discussing his contributions to justice, equality, and efforts towards reform and unity within the Islamic community. The ceremony also featured Quranic recitations and poignant elegies, celebrating his enduring values of sacrifice and leadership.
Such events promote social inclusion and foster cultural understanding (SDG 10), underscoring the university’s commitment to creating a sustainable, cohesive society (SDG 16).

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said in welcoming the holy month of Ramadan:
"Ask Allah, your Lord, with sincere intentions and pure hearts to grant you success in fasting and reciting His Book, for the unfortunate one is he who is deprived of Allah's forgiveness in this great month. Remember with your hunger and thirst the hunger and thirst of the Day of Judgment, give charity to your poor and needy, honour your elders, and show mercy to your young ones."

The Governance of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), along with the Faculty of College of Engineering, mourns the passing of their dear student, Zain Al-Abideen Kareem, a second-year Civil Engineering student, who tragically passed away following an unfortunate accident.
We ask Allah Almighty to grant the deceased His vast mercy and to provide patience and solace to his family and loved ones. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive.

The day of Ghadeer Khumm is the best holiday of my nation, and it is the day on which Allah Almighty commanded me to appoint my brother Ali bin Abi Talib as a leader for my nation, by whom they will be guided after me.
