Warith Al-Anbiyaa University Signs a Scientific Cooperation Memorandum with Al-Alamein Institute for Postgraduate Studies

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen academic partnerships and advance scientific research, Warith Al-Anbiyaa University has signed a joint scientific cooperation memorandum with Al-Alamein Institute for Postgraduate Studies. The memorandum aims to broaden the scope of scientific and academic collaboration in a manner that contributes to enhancing the educational process and achieving the goals of sustainable development.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University by the University President, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, while Al-Alamein Institute for Postgraduate Studies was represented by its Dean, Professor Dr Zaid Adnan Al-Akeeli. The signing ceremony took place in the courtyard of Al-Alamein Library.

The memorandum seeks to support joint scientific research, promote the exchange of academic expertise and teaching staff, provide joint academic supervision of research projects and postgraduate studies, and organise conferences, seminars, and scientific events. These objectives are aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Both parties affirmed that this memorandum represents an important step towards building an academic environment that supports innovation and high-quality scientific output, as well as strengthening cooperation among Iraqi academic institutions. Such collaboration is expected to have a positive impact on the quality of higher education and its research outcomes.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr Ibrahim Bahr Al-Uloom, General Supervisor, along with a number of deans from Warith Al-Anbiyaa University and heads of academic departments at Al-Alamein Institute for Postgraduate Studies.
