On the occasion of the blessed anniversary of the birth of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib , students of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University took the initiative to commemorate this auspicious event through a symbolic activity. The initiative included the distribution of sweets and the presentation of brief accounts and selected quotations from his noble life within the university campus, with the aim of promoting the human and ethical values embodied by Imam Ali (peace be upon him), including justice, knowledge, and service to humanity.
This student-led initiative comes within the framework of enhancing cultural and religious awareness within the university community and reinforcing a sense of belonging and social responsibility. It is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), which emphasises the importance of value-based and knowledge-driven education, and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), through the promotion of principles of justice, peaceful coexistence, and the development of an informed character that contributes to serving society.
The University affirmed that such student activities contribute to fostering a positive university environment that integrates knowledge and values, and supports the vision of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University in preparing an ethically conscious and culturally informed generation capable of making an effective contribution to building a balanced and sustainable society.
