The activities of the Second Investment and Entrepreneurship Exhibition were launched at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, in cooperation with the University of Karbala, Al-Zahraa University for Women, and Al-Sibtain University. The exhibition witnessed wide participation from students and entrepreneurs, alongside a number of innovative entrepreneurial projects.
The exhibition aims to provide a practical platform for showcasing students’ creative ideas and linking them with opportunities for investment and development, thereby contributing to transforming student initiatives into projects capable of implementation and growth in the labour market, and enhancing students’ readiness to integrate into the economic environment.
The President of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, affirmed that the exhibition forms part of the University’s vision to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among students. He noted that the University’s role is not limited to academic education, but extends to nurturing young talents and providing a stimulating environment for creativity and excellence.
He added that through such events, the University seeks to empower students to transform their ideas into real projects that serve society and contribute to supporting the national economy, emphasising the importance of academic partnerships in achieving this objective.
The organisation of the exhibition is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) through supporting applied education; Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by economically empowering young people; Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure); and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through cooperation between universities and academic institutions.
