Scientific Cooperation Agreement between the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University (PBUH) and the Royal College of Physicians/London-Iraq Network
In line with the strategic direction of the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University (PBUH) towards academic openness and strengthening international scientific partnerships with prestigious institutions, and its commitment to developing medical education according to the latest international standards, the College of Medicine signed a scientific cooperation agreement with the Royal College of Physicians/London-Iraq Network, one of the leading networks specializing in promoting continuing medical education and raising the competence of physicians and academic staff in Iraq and the region.
The agreement was signed by Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun Al-Ghazi, Dean of the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University (PBUH), representing the college, in the presence of Professor Dr. Hilal Al-Saffar, President of the Royal College of Physicians/London-Iraq Network, under the supervision of the President of the Royal College of Physicians, Professor Mumtaz Patel, and the Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Medicine, Dr. Amin Abdul Hassan Al-Alwani.
The agreement essentially entails the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University joining the Royal College of Medicine's network as a founding member. This allows the college to participate in a global academic system dedicated to advancing medical education and organizing joint scientific and research activities among academic and medical institutions. The agreement also encompasses several areas of cooperation, most notably supporting joint scientific initiatives, exchanging academic expertise, and developing training and educational programs that contribute to raising the level of undergraduate, resident, and postgraduate students. Furthermore, it aims to enhance opportunities for scientific publication and applied research in modern medical fields.
This collaboration is part of the college's ongoing efforts to improve the quality of its educational outcomes, strengthen its international academic presence, and solidify its position among leading medical colleges that adhere to global quality standards in education, training, and scientific research.
