University President Conducts Field Visit to Review Campus Services and Student Needs

The President of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, accompanied by the Assistant for Scientific Affairs, conducted a field tour of several university facilities to follow up on service provision and assess students’ needs, reflecting the university’s commitment to fostering an advanced learning environment that meets the requirements of modern academic practice.
During the tour, Professor Al-Hayyawi met with a number of students, listening to their views and suggestions. He affirmed that student welfare and the enhancement of the learning experience remain among the university’s highest priorities, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (Goal 4: Quality Education), which call for inclusive and equitable quality education for all. Students of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa Achieve Fourth Place in the Arab Scout Youth Award

Students of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa achieved a distinguished milestone by securing fourth place at the Arab Scout Youth Award – Second Edition, hosted by the United Arab Emirates, for their innovative project “Iraq Scouts Application”.
This accomplishment was achieved under the supervision of the Department of Student Activities. The university was represented at the award ceremony by Abbas Alaa Dheyaa Al-Deen, a student from the College of Science, Department of Information Technology, and was completed in coordination with the University Scouting Committee at the Ministry of Higher Education and with the support of the Iraqi Scout Association.
The project reflects the students’ ability to apply their technical skills in serving youth communities. It aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by promoting applied learning and innovative competencies. It also contributes to Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure through the development of technological solutions that support the scouting movement. Commencement of Student Data Entry, Verification, and Electronic Certification

The phase for student data entry, verification, and electronic approval has officially commenced.
• Students who have already created their accounts are invited to review and verify their information using their examination number and password. • Students without an examination number or password will be issued an electronic examination number, enabling them to complete their data entry and upload supporting documents or grade confirmations. • Students are required to book the nearest verification centre to complete the validation and approval of their data. • Students eligible for special privileges, including those of martyrs’ families, political prisoners, outstanding athletes, and media professionals, must complete the forms specific to their category and schedule an appointment electronically for verification with the relevant authorities.

The College of Nursing at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa has signed a new scientific cooperation agreement with the provincial Nursing Syndicate, marking a pioneering step aimed at empowering nursing professionals and opening broad academic pathways for them to obtain advanced university qualifications that contribute to the development of their professional performance.
This agreement aligns with the university’s vision of supporting the health sector by supplying highly competent personnel, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being) through the enhancement of healthcare staff capabilities and the improvement of services provided to patients. The agreement also supports (SDG 4: Quality Education) by providing equitable and accessible educational opportunities for healthcare professionals, enabling them to continue their studies without obstacles. Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority Visits the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, Praises Expansion and Sustainable Development Projects

Today, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalaei, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, visited the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, where he was welcomed by the University President, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi. The visit formed part of an inspection tour to review ongoing expansion and development projects within the university, undertaken as part of its strategic plans to enhance the quality of education and develop the campus environment.
During the tour, He examined the new buildings under construction, as well as service and infrastructure projects being developed to provide a modern and safe learning environment. These initiatives align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education by improving educational outcomes, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure through the enhancement of university infrastructure, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities by establishing advanced and sustainable educational facilities.

On Friday, 14 November 2025, the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa hosted a scientific conference on the World's Diabetes Day. The event was organised by the Iraqi Society of Clinical Chemistry in collaboration with the University’s College of Medicine and Al-Hassan Centre for Endocrinology and Diabetes, and sponsored by Al-Riyada Al-Arabiya Company, under the theme:"Together for a Community Aware of Diabetes Health."
The conference was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr Ali Al-Ghazali, along with faculty members, specialised researchers from Iraq and abroad, and actively participating university students, reflecting the institution’s commitment to advancing academic and research development in the medical field.
The conference discussions focused on the latest approaches to early detection and prevention of diabetes, highlighting modern laboratory and therapeutic techniques in disease management. Ministry of Education Announces Availability of Hungarian Scholarships

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the availability of seventy (70) Hungarian scholarships offered to Iraq for the academic year 2026/2027.

National Institutional Accreditation Team Visits Al-Warith University to Enhance Educational Quality and Advance Sustainable Development Goals

As part of Al-Warith University’s ongoing commitment to achieving academic excellence and ensuring high-quality higher education, Professor Dr Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, President of the University, together with the esteemed University Council, welcomed the National Institutional Accreditation Team headed by Dr Khalid Shanawa. The delegation included specialists from the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority / Directorate of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The purpose of the visit was to conduct an on-site review of the university’s compliance with institutional accreditation requirements and standards. This included evaluating the academic environment, infrastructure, teaching practices, and mechanisms for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

The University Affairs Department, in collaboration with the Campus Care Department at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him), organised a training workshop on safety procedures and civil defense, aiming to raise awareness of preventive measures and emergency response within the university campus.
This workshop is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to promote a safe and healthy learning environment, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being and Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, by fostering a culture of safety and social responsibility among staff and students.
